And then there were seven…

Cast your mind back a couple of weeks and Ian Wright was our clear favourite to be King of the Jungle – but last night he became the fifth to leave camp, much to his relief.

To be fair to Wrighty, you can’t doubt his authenticity. He was himself. I think everyone expected the funny, lighthearted personality we see day-to-day, but it seems he just didn’t take to the Jungle life and instead we got a lot of moaning.

So, seven now remain. Andrew Whyment – better known as Kirky – remains a strong favourite at 1/2, ahead of Roman Kemp at 9/2.

Those two look streets ahead of the rest in terms of potential winners, and I personally would be extremely surprised to see Nadine Coyle (8/1), Jacqueline Jossa (10/1), Kate Garraway (33/1), Caitlyn Jenner (50/1) or Myles Stephenson (100/1) go all the way.

I see there’s been a lot of talk online about last night’s trial, entitled ‘Slop of the Pops’.  It was indeed as disgusting as the title. ‘Slop’. What a horrible word.

Meanwhile everyone is talking about Caitlyn Jenner’s latest revelation about her closeness to the OJ Simpson case. She does have some brilliant stories, doesn’t she?

Anyway. Another day, another elimination. Myles is odds-on to be the next to go at 4/9, ahead of Caitlyn, who was in the bottom two with Wrighty last night, at 9/2.

Whenever you bet, Betfred

Today’s Trial tease … and the fragrant Kate is in action once again. Be still, oh beating heart …
