A dream literally came true for Supansa Tipton, who has won £35,000 from just £5 at Betfred
Restaurant worker Supansa, a 37-year-old mother of one, found herself in the money after playing the 49’s lottery.
She went to bed early at her home in Stourbridge and woke up with a start in the middle of the night having had a vivid dream regarding four lucky numbers – namely 1, 19, 22 and 44.
Supansa was convinced that her dream should not be ignored, so wrote down the numbers on a notepad on her bedside table.
Next morning, during a shopping spree with friends, she remembered the dream and so quickly nipped into the Betfred shop on Blackwell Street, Kidderminster, to bet that those four numbers would come up in the 49’s draw… and she was so sure in fact that she put on £2 and later another £3.
That landed her a whopping £35,000.
She said: “It was the middle of the night, around midnight to be exact, and for some reason in my dream I had been wishing for four numbers so I wrote them down before I went back to sleep.
“I just can’t believe it. I’ve never won anything like this before and it’s all because of that dream.
“I celebrated with my husband Duncan with some prosecco at home. He, who is an office worker, and I met in Thailand ten years ago, so it would be nice to go back there now we can afford it.
“It will be a great holiday for us and our young daughter, but this time we’ll be staying in a five-star hotel!”
Betfred boss Fred Done said: “I normally have nightmares, very often about my team Manchester United. Thank heavens Supansa didn’t have a dream about becoming a millionaire! It really is fantastic that she’s won big from such a small stake.”
