England go head to head with Pakistan in their third ODI at Bristol on Tuesday afternoon with Eoin Morgan set to shuffle the England pack once again (England 4/11, Pakistan 2/1 – Match Betting).

After the first ODI was washed out, the two sides fought out a high-scoring affair in Southampton with England just edging home by 12 runs thanks to a brilliant century from Jos Buttler.

It remains to be seen if the pitch at Bristol is as batter-friendly as the one at the Ageas Bowl was but, as it is even smaller than Southampton, another run fest could be in order.

Jofra Archer may return having been rested for the second clash on Saturday and if he does he will be anxious to show once again why he should make the final England squad for the World Cup.

The Barbados-born quick bowler showed in his hostile opening spell in the washed out game at the Oval what a special talent he is but he did not practice on Monday, as Adil Rashid didn’t, so that suggests he will be left out again.

Joe Denly is expected to come in for Buttler and Jason Roy is keen to get amongst the runs after he claims he was rusty in Southampton when clocking up 87 (Roy 11/4 , Top England run scorer).

“OK is the right word,” he said. “I was not quite myself. There was certainly a bit of rustiness there.”

“Still, 87 is not a bad return when a little short of form. Even better, the back spasms have disappeared.

“The back actually feels way better than before,” Roy said. “I should have had the injection earlier. There are absolutely no worries at all now.”
