Manchester United (11/2 – Top-Four Finish) boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants his men to kick on in the final weeks of the season as they look to secure a top-four spot.

The Red Devils head into Sunday’s clash with top-four rivals Chelsea (Match Betting – United 7/4, draw 12/5, Chelsea 17/10) sitting sixth and in serious danger of missing out on the Champions League.

After a disappointing run, which has seen United lose seven of their last nine across all competitions, they cannot afford to drop any further points this season.

United are three points shy of fourth-placed Chelsea with three games left to play after Wednesday’s loss to cross-city rivals Manchester City.

Defeat at Old Trafford would likely rule them out of contention and Solskjaer has demanded a big performance.

The Norwegian believes Chelsea, who are still involved in the Europa League, will be tired and wants his squad to use that to their advantage.

“It’s been an emotional season for the club because we’ve changed manager halfway through,” Solskjaer said.

“We’re still in the race for top four and the focus has to be on Chelsea. If we get a performance, which we know we can do, we know they’re tired, we don’t care because there’s three games to go.

“You work your socks off for 90 minutes three times, then it’s your holidays.”

Solskjaer has already guided United to a 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup this term, while the Blues have not won at Old Trafford since 2013.
