The Ryder Cup is only a matter of hours away and captains Thomas Bjorn and Jim Furyk have named the European and American players who will be up first at Le Golf National (USA 10/11, tie 11/1, Europe 6/5 – Outright).
Match One will feature Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau against Justin Rose and Jon Rahm, teeing off at 8.10am local time, with the following matches coming at regular 15-minute intervals.
Match Two sees world number one Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler take on Rory McIlroy and Torbjorn Olesen, with Match Three featuring Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas against Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton.
The returning Tiger Woods is up in Match Four alongside Patrick Reed and they face Open champion Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood.
A 2-2 tie is the favourite score for the fourballs (14/5), while an unlikely 4-0 to either side is way down the list, with the USA 14/1 and Europe further back at 30/1.
Bjorn has picked a rookie in all four games as he looks to get them all out early.
He said: “I went into it with positive problems as everyone is playing so well, but these parings have been with me all week and I think they will be a good group to get out there.”
Asked about picking a rookie in every team, Bjorn played down the significance, adding: “I believe in this team from one to 12 and it is a team effort.
“They are raring to go and everyone wants to get out there and start their matches.”
Odds subject to change.
