This Saturday sees Anthony Crolla and Jorge Linares go toe to toe once again, and Betfred are right at the heart of the action!

Manchester-born Crolla was on the wrong side of a points decision last September, with the Venezuelan skilfully wrenching his WBA World lightweight title away.

“Million Dollar” is desperate to avenge that defeat in a bout that is being billed as “Repeat or Revenge” and Betfred are proud sponsors of another huge night of boxing.

Can he do it? Or is Linares a class above the gutsy Mancunian?

The odds suggest that the 30-year-old local lad is up against it, but he is no stranger to being the underdog.

Bout betting: Linares 1/2, Draw 20/1, Crolla 7/4

After facing a career threatening injury, Crolla was controversially denied the chance to take home a world title at the first time of asking after appearing to get the better of Darleys Perez back in July 2015.

In true warrior fashion, the Joe Gallagher trained fighter faced Perez again in November of that year and stopped Perez with a shuddering body shot in the fifth.

Believe in history repeating itself? Odds of 50/1 at Betfred say Crolla can stop Linares at the same stage this Saturday evening.

Linares is indeed a three-weight world champion and his victory at the Manchester Arena last time out was no fluke – Crolla is going to have to devise a new game plan.

He’s been here before though, and has proven his mettle at the most crucial stage throughout his career to date.

To beat “El Nino”, the Manchester United fan is going to have to produce the performance of his career.

Is he capable of that? Absolutely!

The suffocating tactics and constant barrage of pressure proved too much to handle for Perez and Ismael Barroso before the first instalment of Crolla v Linares.

Back “Million Dollar” to produce the goods against all the odds again and stop Linares late on at odds of 8/1 between rounds 7-12!

Get behind the ropes with Betfred – proud sponsor of Linares v Crolla II.
