Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Augsburg @ 6/5

Date: Saturday 27th May, 2023
Time: 14:30
Venue: Stadion im Borussia-Park, Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach have had a bizarre season, winning nine of their 16 home games but only recording a single Bundesliga away victory.

Saturday’s final day opponents Augsburg are still in danger of being relegated from the Bundesliga, with their own road worries perhaps being behind their struggles.

Their last away victory came on October 2 and it feels unlikely that they will be able to turn the tables on an emotional afternoon for Die Fohlen, with both captain Lars Stindl and manager Daniel Farke set to depart.

Luton to beat Coventry @ 6/4

Date: Saturday 27th May, 2023
Time: 16:45
Venue: Wembley Stadium, London

The ‘Richest Game in Football’ takes place on Saturday as Coventry face Luton in the Championship play-off final.

Both clubs have enjoyed rollercoaster spells over the last couple of decades but look to be back on track and the winner at Wembley will play in next season’s Premier League.

Coventry battled past Middlesbrough to reach Saturday’s showpiece, while Luton came from behind to overhaul Sunderland.

Both regular-season matches ended in draws but the Hatters were 10 points better off after 46 games and can demonstrate that superiority in 90 minutes by returning to the top flight for the first time since 1991-92.

Fiorentina to beat Roma @ EVS

Date: Saturday 27th May, 2023
Time: 17:00
Venue: Stadio Artemio Franchi, Florence

Both Fiorentina and Roma have European finals to look forward to, with the Viola facing West Ham in the Conference League on June 7.

However, the Giallorossi’s big night is on Wednesday as they take on Sevilla in the Europa League and Jose Mourinho may prioritise that fixture with his selection.

Fiorentina lost Wednesday’s Coppa Italia final 2-1 to Inter Milan but are typically terrific in the Tuscan capital, as they are unbeaten in seven in the league at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

After their heartache against Inter, Vincenzo Italiano’s side can bounce back against their distracted visitors.

Rennes to beat Monaco @ EVS

Date: Saturday 27th May, 2023
Time: 20:00
Venue: Roazhon Park, Rennes

Rennes can move level with Monaco on 65 points with a victory against the Les Rouges et Blancs on Saturday and their form at Roazhon Park certainly sets them in good stead.

Bruno Genesio’s side have the second-best home record in Ligue 1, winning their last three outings at their Breton home at an aggregate score of 11-2.

Monaco’s overall record on the road is not bad, but they have lost two of their last three away from home, going down both at Lens and Lyon.

This game represents a real chance for Les Rennais to boost their European hopes for next season, while simultaneously wounding a rival.
