In fact, eight of the last 10 Championship playoff finals have produced fewer that three goals, suggesting a low-scoring affair could be on the cards here.

Coventry edged past Middlesbrough in the semi-finals with a single goal scored across 180 minutes of football and defensive resilience will be key once again when they meet a Luton side with the joint second-best defensive record in the division this season.

The most recent encounter between the two sides, back in February, ended 1-1 in the West Midlands so I don’t think there will be a great deal to split the teams on Saturday.
