Having secured victory in Round 1 of the Betfred Super League against Wigan, Hull KR are looking to land a double against the Warriors when they clash on Thursday night.
The Robins have been the surprise package of the season so far and sit in third place in the table with the potential to go second in the standings if they can overcome Wigan at Craven Park.
Hull KR vs Wigan Warriors Betting Tips
Second-place Wigan are the slight favourites in the match winner (80 minutes) market at 4/5 to head back across the Pennines with the win.
Hosts Hull KR are 11/10 to land their ninth win of the 2023 Betfred Super League campaign, while a tie after 80 minutes is available at 20/1.
Team news
Robins head coach Willie Peters is having to deal with a number of injuries with the likes of Lachlan Coote, Jordan Abdull, Rowan Milnes, George King and Rhys Kennedy all sidelined for Thursday.
In a boost for the hosts, Corey Hall has recovered from illness and the winger is in line to feature against the Warriors.
As for Wigan, head coach Matt Peet has made two changes to his squad with Kai Pearce-Paul and Ethan Havard both out injured.
Tom Forber and Harvey Makin have been called up to the 21-man squad for the trip to Craven Park.
Hull KR to win @ 11/10
The Robins set the tone for the season with a 27-18 victory over Wigan in the opening round and look capable of landing another win over the Warriors this week.
KR were unfortunate to lose on the road at Warrington in their last Super League game, before cruising to a 50-0 win over Batley Bulldogs last time out in the Challenge Cup.
Wigan were made to work for their win over rivals Leeds in the Challenge Cup and face a big test to back up their victory over the Rhinos.
KR have been formidable at home this season and have the confidence and quality to land another win over the Warriors.
#PickYourPunt – Both teams to score 20+ points @ 2/1
Both teams have excellent attacking options and Thursday’s encounter could well be a high-scoring affair.
With no rain and around 15C forecasted on the night, it’s set to be perfect conditions for attacking rugby.
Wigan have been averaging 22.4 points a game in attack, while Hull KR have been slightly better at 22.6.
With that in mind, both teams to score over 20+ points on the night looks to be good value at 2/1.
