Real Sociedad can edge even closer to securing a spot in next season’s Champions League when they host strugglers Almeria on Tuesday.
La Real are on track to claim their highest La Liga finish since 2012/13 as they seek a return to Europe’s premier club competition.
Imanol Alguacil’s side sit fourth and are five points clear of fifth-placed Villarreal with three games to play, while they trail third-placed Real Madrid by six points.
Almeria head to the Anoeta on Tuesday with a battle of their own as they seek to try and pull further clear of relegation.
The Andalusian outfit are just four points clear of the drop zone but have won three of their last five fixtures.
