Barcelona have already wrapped up the La Liga title with games to spare but they will be looking to bounce back from defeat in their last game, against Real Valladolid. We’ve previewed the match and given you our suggested bets.

Real Valladolid vs Barcelona Tips

  • Robert Lewandowski to score – 4/5

Valladolid (5/2) are in big trouble, after yet another 2-0 loss to Cadiz on Friday evening, which was their fifth straight loss on the spin and leaves them sat down in the final relegation spot.

This game, against the champions Barcelona (5/6), may be seen as a bit of a free-hit, with much more winnable games on the horizon, against Almeria and fellow strugglers Getafe.

The home game against 17th placed Getafe on the final day of the season, could be a straight shootout for who stays in Primera Liga.

Any points they can eke out of this one would certainly help and after Barca lost 2-1 to Real Sociedad on Saturday, this could be as good a time as any to play against the title winners.

Team news:

Martin Hongla is suspended for this one, following his sending off against Cadiz at the weekend. He joins Luis Perez, Selim Amallah and Anuar Tuhami, who are all on the injured list and unavailable for Paulo Pezzalano.

Xavi should have a full squad to select from here, as Gavi returns from suspension, with Pedri and Ronald Araujo fit again after missing the Sociedad game due to minor knocks.

Latest Real Valladolid vs Barcelona Betfred Odds

Barcelona to win to nil – 11/4

Valladolid have not only lost five on the bounce but have also lost their last six straight against the Catalan giants.

Not only that but they haven’t managed to score in their last four head-to-heads against Barca and lost 4-0 in the corresponding fixture, earlier this season.

A full strength Barcelona side will be keen to make amends for their loss on Saturday and I fear Valladolid could face the repercussions from that response.

Robert Lewandowski to score – 4/5

Despite the anti-climax of the loss to Sociedad, after being presented with the title, Robert Lewandowski continued his superb start to life at the Camp Nou.

The veteran striker bagged a 90th minute consolation, which was his 22nd of the season in La Liga.

34-year-old Lewandowski now has five in his last five and looks value at 4/5 to net again here.
