With the weather improving in Yorkshire, the going is set to be good for Sunday’s seven-race card at Ripon.

Dominic Ffrench Davis’ Valadero has yet to win a race, but the two-year-old could not have come any closer.
Both of his runs last month showcased his potential, as he finished second at both Doncaster and Thirsk.
Connections will fancy their chances and expect it to be a case of third-time lucky, especially with only five other runners in competition at Ripon on Sunday.
The rest of the field have yet to experience a race under rules, and his previous experiences should stand him in good stead.
16:25 – Pinafore @ 8/11
William Haggas and his team will make the trip to Ripon with plenty of promise, and their runner Pinafore should be able to repay them.
The three-year-old was last seen at Newmarket, and she finished fourth in a competitive handicap contest at HQ.
That was Pinafore’s first run for 204 days after a win at Kempton in September, and it should have blown off the cobwebs.
The race at Newmarket was her handicap debut, so she should be able to adapt and kick on at Ripon in what looks like a winnable race.
