The action continues at the Crucible and we have the start of the quarter finals on Tuesday. We’ve taken a look at the two scheduled games and given you a tasty double, which pays around 5/2(boosted from 9/4).

We’re into the last eight in Sheffield and we have two cracking looking matches taking place on Tuesday. We’ve priced up a boosted double on our selections, so let’s get stuck in!
Ronnie O’Sullivan -3.5 Hcp – 10/11
The first of the quarter finals takes place on Tuesday morning, when seven-time world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan (1/3) takes on Belgian Luca Brecel (23/10).
‘The Rocket’ had an entertaining last 16 match up against Iranian Hossein Vafaei, who had spiced things up pre match by stating that O’Sullivan should retire and let the young ones get on with the sport.
Ronnie replied warning Vafaei not to ‘rattle his cage’, to which the Iranian answered that “O’Sullivan was a nice guy, when he was asleep!”.
Most onlookers knew what was coming and the Englishman didn’t disappoint, smashing The Prince of Persia 13-2, racking up three centuries along the way.
Next up is the ‘Belgian Bullet’, who pulled off a shock victory over three-time world champion, Mark Williams in the last round.
Brecel played some great snooker, registering four centuries on the way to a 13-11 triumph. I get the feeling that a charing Ronnie could be too much though in this one.
O’Sullivan is chasing his eighth title and looks to be hugely motivated in this tournament. With this in mind, I expect him to cover the four frame handicap.
Mark Allen – 3.5 Hcp – 4/5
On the second table it’s Northern Ireland’s Mark Allen (2/7) against Welshman Jak Jones (11/4).
Jones is the lowest ranked player currently in the quarter finals at #52, although that could change if Si Jiahui were to beat Robert Milkins in Monday’s last 16 match up.
The 29-year-old shocked the snooker fraternity, with a 13-7 win over Neil Robertson, including three tons and eight breaks of 50+.
Next up for ‘The Silent Assassin’ is another tough looking assignment versus Allen, who is chasing his first world title.
Allen has had a superb year of snooker, picking up three big titles including the UK Championship and looks to be loving his new svelte figure, after losing a fair amount of weight.
‘The Pistol’ breezed past Stuart Bingham in the last 16, 13-4 and registering a 50+ break in every frame he won.
Jones has done superbly well to reach the quarter finals but I have a feeling he could take a bit of a hiding here.
The two selections combined pay a tad under 9/4 but we’ve boosted to 5/2 at the time of writing.
