There are another four jumps meetings to come on Thursday across the UK and Ireland, including a seven-race card from Sedgefield.
The going is expected to be soft for Thursday’s meeting and we have picked out three runners that should have no problem winning on that ground.

14:50 Sedgefield – Hold up La Colmine @ 6/5
Connections of Hold up La Colmine clearly mean business ahead of Thursday’s card at Sedgefield. Trainer Philip Hobbs, who now holds a joint licence with Johnson White, will have to make the long trip from Somerset to Sedgefield for the meeting.
That is roughly a 600-mile round trip in all for his team, but they clearly feel that now is the time to side with the six-year-old.
Previous backers will have been frustrated to see Hold up La Colmine finish third in four consecutive races, but a mark of 112 looks more than workable.
15:25 Sedgefield – The Questioner @ 6/5
Only four will compete in the 15:25, which will be covered by Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion. Hopefully, backers of The Questioner will not need the extra place as he tries to return to winning ways for trainers Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero.
The Questioner has already won twice this season at Ayr and Doncaster, although he finished third at Bangor in February.
He has taken to fences well and even though he finished third in Wales last time out, that run proves he should have too much class for Thursday’s field.
Wake Up Early appears to be the biggest danger, but we fancy The Questioner to prevail in a fierce battle at Sedgefield.
16:00 Sedgefield – Hilnamix @ 11/8
Another small field for a handicap hurdle contest over three miles and three furlongs, but Hilnamix looks to have what it takes to record a second-successive victory.
The six-year-old won last time out for trainer Lawney Hill at Plumpton and that was his first career success.
Connections used a visor on that occasion which worked a treat and the step up in trip looks like it will suit.
Hilnamix will have to defy a 6lb rise, but with the headgear retained, the rest of the field will find it hard to match the same quality.
