A beauty therapist booked a holiday in Greece days after winning £16,212 from a £10 FREE bet, as part of a Betfred promotion on the Cheltenham Festival
The 32-year-old from the Midlands is flying off to the sun with her boyfriend, who helped her pick the horses at the Festival including 33/1 outsider Sire Du Berlais. Making up their winning treble last Thursday were Envoi Allen and Stage Star.
“We went out to dinner and had a few more drinks than normal,” said the jubilant winner who can barely believe she’s won so much from a free bet.
“My boyfriend bets just now and again on the Grand National and other big races, like at Ascot for instance. He knows more about it than me though, as I go off the colours the jockeys wear for my selections!”
She added: “We booked a nice five-star all inclusive on Monday in Greece for the summer which is great, considering the bet was free.”
