Our Both Teams to Score accumulator for this Saturday spans several different divisions as we look to get our second win for this column in four weeks. We go six games deep with a price of 27.5/1 at the time of writing.

We pick two games from the Premier League with the game at Villa Park the starting point alphabetically. Bournemouth scored twice at the Emirates a fortnight ago and beat Liverpool 1-0 at the Vitality last weekend. They certainly look good going forward and the signing of Dango Ouatarra seems to have really given them added flair. I like their chances to score and even potentially win. Villa have scored in every single game they’ve played since Christmas. This game should have plenty of goals.
I haven’t written up my Football Bet of the Day yet as of the time of writing but the Brentford to win and Both Teams to Score at 11/4 is very much under consideration. The Foxes haven’t been overly prolific in recent weeks but we know they can score goals. I’m a massive fan of Harvey Barnes and feel he can hit the back of the net on Saturday but keeping the Bees out at the other end will be tough. Jonny Evans looks set to start his first game since November following a thigh injury.
Blackpool spanked QPR 6-1 on Tuesday night which might be one of the biggest shock results of the Championship season so far. Not that the home side won but the manner that they did. They had only scored one goal in their previous four matches but that attacking output should give them plenty of confidence in front of goal. Viktor Gyökeres looks set for the Premier League next season but with him on the park, Coventry always have a chance of scoring.
Down in League 1 and my lot Pompey have actually scored in five or their past six as that mid-season run of 15 games without a win seeds to be a thing of the past. Colby Bishop started the season on fire and the summer signing has started to heat up once more. The fact the home side have only scored one goal in their previous five games at the Memorial Stadium is a concern but I’d rarely back Portsmouth to keep a clean sheet!
Both Morecambe and Oxford United are in shocking form and neither team has managed a win in their past five league games. Two things can happen when sides on terrible runs clash and that is either both teams are nervous and play scared or they both just go for it and an open game ensues. I’m leaning towards the latter but this is more of a gut feel pick rather than form based, so I can see plenty of reasons to omit this from your BTTS acca.
Lastly I take a trip down to West Leigh Park to take in Havant & Waterlooville vs Tonbridge Angels. The Hawks have seen BTTS come in for four successive games and the management change should give the home side more confidence. The Angels have scored in five straight. Both teams are over 60% for BTTS on the season.
