We start in the Premier League where Brentford have been on a really decent run of form in recent weeks. It surprises me that they areEven money to beat a Leicester side who are on a right slide. The Foxes have lost four straight whilst the Bees have been victorious in three of their past six. Brendan Rodgers’ side look too good to go down but they also look pretty abject at times. I’d fancy Brentford even if they were playing at the King Power so the fact they are at home makes me feel good. The home team to win and BTTS at 11/4 is a big price for a single.

I’m also going against Southampton. I’m not exactly feeling positive about Spurs but the home side look like a side destined to be playing their football in the Championship next season. A midweek loss to Brentford at St. Mary’s was a bodyblow and despite Antonio Conte’s men looking iffy, they should be able to grind out a result.

QPR absolutely did me in last weekend when I had Watford to beat them by two or more as a pretty big priced Bet of the Day. That looked more than foolish come full-time but then Gareth Ainsworth’s side shipped in six at Blackpool in the week. Birmingham though got a much needed win last weekend that has got them to the all-important 40 point mark, so safety looks likely. The Blues lost 3-0 themselves on the road in midweek so give me the Hoops at home to scrape a win against another poor side.

Birmingham lost that midweek game to Watford and they appear in the acca for the second Saturday on the spin in the hope of a better outcome. Wigan have looked better under Shaun Maloney but I like Chris Wilder to get his side pushing towards the playoffs and this is exactly the type of game they need to win if they are going to fight for the top six.

A big game down in League 2 at Brunton Park and I’m going with the home side to win their fifth straight at the biggest price in the sixfold. Paul Simpson’s side are on a terrific run and a win in front of their own fans will vault them above Stevenage. Home advantage in these games is often key and that is why I’m lumping Carlisle into this acca, which really boosts the price.

Lastly Wrexham to win because why wouldn’t you add them to any Saturday acca most weeks? 8/15 feels a very good price considering Bromley are mid-table. I know they held Notts County to a draw a fortnight ago but Phil Parkinson’s side look like they are very much en route to the title and promotion.
