We have put together an 19/1 over 2.5 goal fivefold across five different competitions for Tuesday night as we look to expand our range of accumulators we offer here on the Betfred Blog…
Over 2.5 Goals Tips – Tuesday 7 February, 2023
- Back over 2.5 goals in Sheff Utd vs Wrexham at 8/13
- Back over 2.5 goals in Maidenhead vs Southend at Evens
- Back over 2.5 goals in Blyth Spartans vs Chorley at 4/5
- Back over 2.5 goals in Taunton vs Dulwich Hamlet at 10/11
- Back over 2.5 goals in Hamilton Academical at 4/5
- Overall odds 19/1
Starting off in the FA Cup, this is the shortest priced leg of the fivefold and I don’t think anyone is surprised. The two teams scored six goals between them in the original tie back in Wales and Wrexham have scored at least two goals in every game since early December and have scored at least three in every FA Cup game this term. The visitors to get over 1.5 alone is my Football Bet of the Day at 11/4 and I really fancy over 2.5 to kick start this fivefold.
Going down into the National League for what the odds suggest is our longest shot of the night. Neither side is above 50% for Over 2.5 this season, which I grant you is a concern. Everything going down at Southend right now though off the pitch is either going to galvanise the squad or see them throw in the towel. Either way, goals could well be on the cards.
The National League North selection is not straightforward either but I like the leakiness of the Blyth Spartans defence to give us this leg. The Spartans Green Army have conceded three goals in three of their past four. Chorley might not score bagfuls of goals but a bad bakline always gives us hope and the home side could easily grab one or two themselves.
Down in the west country and it is the Dulwich Hamlet side of the coin that I’m focusing in on. Every game since Boxing Day has seen over 2.5 Goals come in. So far this season in the 27 games involving the London side in the league, no fewer than 94 goals have been scored. They like to hit the back of the net but their keeper also has to bend down to pick the ball out of his on many an occasion.
Lastly it is up to Scotland for a game that is live on BBC iPlayer in the Scottish Challenge Cup where neither team are exactly in prime form. Hamilton are bottom of the Championship with Queen of the South sitting seventh in league one. League form suggests this might be a tough one to come in but with the freedom of the cup, teams often score more goals. This is a semi-final so the pressure will be on but if we see an early goal, this leg has every chance of coming in.
