The NBA continues into the early hours of Tuesday morning with plenty of teams in action, and we’ve picked out a 10/1 treble.

Boston Celtics @ Detroit Pistons – Celtics (-11.5) @ EVS

After a lethargic performance Friday, the Boston Celtics had the rest of the weekend off in order to get energised for a road matchup against the Detroit Pistons in the early hours of Tuesday morning UK time.

The Celtics are at the top of the Eastern Conference standings and face the club at the bottom after both were defeated by the Phoenix Suns over the past few days.

Jayson Tatum is one of the favourites to win the MVP award this season, and he had no trouble with efficient scoring during Boston’s first two games against Detroit this season. He had 31 points in a 128-112 win over the Pistons on November 9 and 43 points in a 117-108 triumph on November 12.

I expect the Celtics to bounce back here with a convincing win, which is why I’m taking them on the point spread.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Brooklyn Nets – Nets on the Money Line @ 21/10

Brooklyn will begin life without Kyrie Irving when they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.

The Nets traded the guard on Sunday to the Dallas Mavericks, receiving Spencer Dinwiddie, forward Dorian Finney-Smith, a 2029 unprotected first-round draft pick, a 2027 second-round pick and a 2029 second-round pick in return.

Brooklyn are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference, and have won three of their last four games.

Meanwhile, the Clippers are 7-2 over their past nine games since losing nine of 11 from December 29 to January 18.

Six of those wins came on the road and four were by seven points or fewer, including Saturday’s 134-128 overtime victory over the New York Knicks.

I fancy the Nets to cover the spread in this one, as they can move on without the distraction of Kyrie Irving hanging over them.

Dallas Mavericks @ Utah Jazz – Jazz (-9.5) @ 10/11

The Dallas Mavericks will be down one superstar on the road against the Utah Jazz, although another one is on the way.

Luka Doncic will be miss the game against Utah due to a heel injury, but Dallas did make a trade with Brooklyn for guard Kyrie Irving on Sunday, although there’s no indication yet as to whether he will be involved in the clash in Salt Lake City.

The Mavericks lost their last game against the Golden State Warriors, and when Doncic is missing, it’s a big gap to fill for Dallas.

That’s why I’m siding with the Jazz to cover the spread here. While the Jazz have gone 7-4 since January 10, they are coming off a lackluster 115-108 home loss to the Atlanta Hawks last time out.

However, I’m expecting them to bounce back here, particularly if Doncic and Irving are missing for the Mavericks.
