Monza are one of the form sides in Serie A and they will expect to claim another three points when they welcome struggling Sampdoria to the U-Power Stadium on Monday.
The Biancorossi have firmly found their feet in the Italian top flight following promotion last season and they are currently on the longest unbeaten run in the division, as they have avoided defeat in each of their last six league games.
Samp can only dream of such form, as they are marooned in the relegation zone after winning just two of their 20 league fixtures to date, with each of their last five matches across all competitions ending in defeat.
All the momentum certainly appears to be in Monza’s favour and a victory for Monday’s hosts could see them end the night in the top half of the standings.

Monza head coach Raffaele Palladino is unlikely to make too many changes to his starting XI given his side completed the league double over Juventus last time out, following up a 1-0 home success in September with a 2-0 triumph at the Allianz Stadium.
Italy international midfielder Stefano Sensi is the only confirmed absentee due to suspension, while there are also doubts surrounding the fitness of right-back Guilio Donati.
Samp were busy in the transfer market during January and new signings Koray Gunter and Mickael Cuisance could be in line to make their debuts, while the recent return to fitness of on-loan Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks also provides a boost.
However, manager Dejan Stankovic still has a number of injury concerns to contend with, as Abdelhamid Sabiri (thigh), Omar Colley (knee) and Filip Djuricic (muscular) are all on the treatment table.

Monza are a team in form, as they have not tasted defeat in Serie A since a 1-0 reverse at Lazio in mid-November, a run that includes an away win at Juventus and a home draw with Inter Milan.
Palladino has certainly turned Monza’s fortunes around since his appointment as head coach in September, with their home form particularly catching the eye, as they have only lost one of their seven league games at the U-Power Stadium since the 38-year-old’s arrival.
Four of those seven matches have ended in victory and those wins all have one thing in common, they have been achieved to nil.
Another victory without conceding could well be on the cards for Monza on Monday, as they will be facing a Sampdoria side that are the lowest scorers in Serie A, netting just eight times from their 20 games to date, while they have drawn a blank in eight of their last nine league fixtures.

As previously mentioned, Sampdoria are not a team that scores many goals, but neither are Monza, who have netted over two goals in only one of their 10 home matches to date in Serie A.
