Newcastle hosts a seven-race jumps card on Tuesday, and we have provided three tips for the action from the north east track.

The going for Tuesday’s card is expected to be soft but standard to slow on the All-Weather sections of the track.

Newcastle Racing Tips:

14:00 – Colonel Harry @ 2/7
15:10 – Fame and Concrete @ 7/2
16:20 – Dollar Bae @ 7/4

Jamie Snowden’s COLONEL HARRY (2/7) is back in action after an impressive run in the Tolworth Novices’ Hurdle at Sandown earlier this month.

Colonel Harry was a 20/1 shot for the Grade One at Sandown, and he only finished six lengths behind eventual winner Tahmuras.

The six-year-old won at Sandown in November, and Snowden will hope for more of the same at Newcastle.

Tuesday’s trip of two miles should suit, and with Colonel Harry returning to run against lower-level opposition, he should set the standard on Tuesday.

15:10 Fame and Concrete @ 7/2

Jonjo O’Neill’s FAME AND CONCRETE (7/2) has every chance of winning for the first time in two years when he competes at Newcastle on Tuesday.

The seven-year-old has only raced three times since his winning debut at Southwell in December 2020, and he finished second in two of those contests.

After finishing seventh of 14 at Warwick in March 2021, he then finished second at both Newbury and Worcester.

He stayed on really well at Newbury in tough conditions while carrying a penalty, and Fame and Concrete should appreciate this trip over hurdles.

16:20 Dollar Bae @ 7/4

O’Neill and his team will be busy on Tuesday at Newcastle, with DOLLAR BAE (7/4) due to run in the finale at 16:20.

Dollar Bae showcased her potential this time last year, winning on her bumper debut at the start of February at Wincanton.

The six-year-old then finished third at Taunton and fourth at Cheltenham, before successive runners-up outings at Warwick and Ludlow.

Since December, Dollar Bae has won successive races at Leicester and Southwell over hurdles, so a hat-trick is on the cards this week.

The handicapper has given her a 4lb rise, which is more than fair, but her recent displays suggest she may even have more to offer.

Ravenscar (4/1) is the main danger after her recent win at Sedgefield, while Autumn Return (10/3) may also be one that could give Dollar Bae some problems.

But O’Neill and his team look to have some solid runners at the minute, and Dollar Bae’s potential is too hard to ignore.
