- Back Over 2.5 Goals in Bristol City vs West Brom at Evens
Earlier in the season Bristol City were one of my absolute go to teams for Goals Galore coupons as they were riding high in the BTTS Tables. They might not be involved in as many high-scoring thrillers as they were earlier in the season but in four straight BTTS have come in.
Now only two of those games converted into Over 2.5 but when you add in the FA Cup factor and the potential more openness to the game, I’m feeling pretty good about them both scoring and conceding – potentially more than the one.
West Brom games have seen Over 2.5 come in for four games straight and over 3.5 would have been a winner for three of them as well. Since Carlos Corberan has stepped into the Baggies dug-out, both their form and goalscoring prowess have improved significantly.
I always like FA Cup games to be slightly higher-scoring than league encounters as they are often more of a free-hit than league games. Both teams are averaging around 1.5 Goals every 90 minutes in league play and in their third round matches (including two replays) those four games saw 15 goals scored – nearly four a game.
The stats suggest the Even money here is a good play.
