The Islanders have been mingling in South Africa for just over a week now and one couple have consistently sat on top of the betting markets. We take a look at the latest prices on who will be crowned winner of Love Island when all is said and done…
Essex boy Ron and makeup artist Lana have been one of the most interesting couples ever since day one. They seemed to connect immediately and despite a bump in the road when Tanyel coupled up with the financial advisor but they are still on a good path and are both 9/4 to win the Top Male and Female markets respectively.
Will is the same price Ron however as viewers can’t get enough of the slightly awkward farmer. He has made waves with Aussie import Jessie and the two have shared their first kiss. Plenty of fear here however that her head might be turned as more bombshells enter the villa. This might be why he’s 9/4 whereas she is 7/2.
Olivia is the only other female shorter than 7/1. The ring-girl currently sits at 9/2 heading into Wednesday’s show and her battle with bombshell Zara has seen her odds shorten and the public seem to have fallen on her side. Plenty of reports are out there that the two of them knew each other before entering the show and that they had some beef. Zara is trading at 8/1 alongside Tanyel and Anna-May.
For the guys the big faller has been Kai who had been the favourite but despite having half of the villa wanting him at various points, the teacher is now 7/1 to win with only Aussie import Aaron a longer price at 10/1.
We head into Wednesday’s show with three islanders of each gender up for the chop with Anna-May, Tanya and Tanyel all fighting to stay on the female side. Kai, Tom and Haris are all potentially going for the boys but as we know, Haris has gone for other reasons so how this will play out tonight is anyone’s guess. The two Aussies will get to decide who goes.
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9PM on Wednesday evening…
