Willie Mullins is responsible for 12 of the 59 entries for the Triumph Hurdle – and it’s Betfred’s antepost favourite Lossiemouth who’s the star attraction.

The filly, who is already two-for-two this season and looks destined for Grade One honours at the Dublin Racing Festival in a couple of weeks, was joined by stablemates Blood Destiny and Gala Marceau at Tuesday’s entry stage.

Mullins also has the likes of Tekao, Gust of Wind, Jourdefete and Risk Belle down as potential runners for the juvenile contest that will kick off the final day of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.

Joseph O’Brien’s Comfort Zone, who is seen as probably the main danger to the Mullins brigade, was handed an entry alongside stablemate Nusret – although it was previously suggested that the latter would avoid Cheltenham in order to be kept to right-handed tracks.

Jupiter Du Gite for Gary Moore and Milton Harris’ Scriptwriter head the British charge – followed by the Paul Nicholls trio of Afadil, Dixon Cove and Rare Middleton.

Grade One-winning French horse St Donats rates the most interesting entry of all.
