Henry de Bromhead’s Hiddenvalley Lake heads a field of 77 for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle ahead of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.
Willie Mullins is responsible for 10 entries – including the likes of Embassy Gardens, Grangeclare West, Quais De Paris, Seabank Bistro and Spanish Harlem.
With 15 is Gordon Elliott, who has Absolute Notions, American Mike, Cool Survivor, Favori De Champdou, Three Card Brag and Firm Footings in the mix – as well as Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle contender Harmonya Maker which is particularly interesting.
Sandor Clegane for Paul Nolan features among the 77, as does Eugene O’Sullivan’s Corbetts Cross and Dawn Rising for Joseph O’Brien.
Others of note include Weveallbeencaught (Nigel Twiston-Davies), You Wear It Well (Jamie Snowden), Chianti Classico (Kim Bailey) and Princess Zoe (Tony Mullins) – the latter rating the most interesting of all being a once 114-rated Flat horse trying her hand at jumping.
