India wrapped up this three game ODI series, with a game to spare, after demolishing New Zealand by 8 wickets in Naya Raipur. Now, we move onto Indore for the third ODI. We’ve previewed this one and given you our best bets for the occasion.

India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI Tips

Team news:

India could well look to shake things up, after sealing the series 2-0 on Saturday. However, they will still want a strong side as they look to wrap up back to back 3-0 series, following the 3-0 whitewash against Sri Lanka.

The fast bowlers who did all the damage in Raipur, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, will have starring roles in the upcoming test match series against Australia, so could be rested here.

Umran Malik could be given a chance with the new ball as well as the leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

India XI (from) – Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KS Bharat (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Rajat Patidar, Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik.

New Zealand will be playing for pride, and will need their top order to step up after the disastrous collapse in Raipur. The Holkar Stadium is more of a batting track so we could see another run fest like in the first ODI.

New Zealand XI (from): Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (captain & wicketkeeper), Michael Bracewell, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson, Blair Tickner, Jacob Duffy, Doug Bracewell, Mark Chapman and Henry Shipley.

Latest India vs New Zealand Odds

Highest Opening Partnership – India – 4/7

The pair of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have been magnificent at the top of the Indian order, with scores of 34, 208, 51 and 40 *, in the series thus far.

With a batting friendly wicket and short boundaries, the two should make hay again against a ropey looking New Zealand bowling unit.

New Zealand top run scorer – Michael Bracewell – 10/1

One bright spare for New Zealand has been all rounder Michael Bracewell.

The 31-year-old is averaging 46.20 in his 17 ODI’s to date and smashed a superb 140 in the first ODI, almost getting New Zealand over the line.

Bracewell looked good again before departing for 22 in Raipur and at 10/1, I can’t ignore his value of top scoring again here in Indore.
