Starting in the National League South where the Over 3.5 Goals in this game is my Football Bet of the Day at Evens or Longer. Both sides score plenty but also concede enough to make this feel like a good leg. Havant & Waterlooville have been involved in eight straight games where Both Teams scored and the home side are on a four-game streak of the same.
Fleetwood have the second best BTTS record in League 1 with 65% of their games ending up with both sets of supporters celebrating at least once. Portsmouth have been falling away in recent months but they do have a new manager and that is usually good for a short-term bounce for three to four games. The away side won for the first time in months on Saturday and should feel confident that they’ll score, the problem is they’ll likely concede as well.
Over in Northern Ireland, Glenavon have the highest ratio of BTTS games in the top flight with 77% of their encounters resulting in this bet coming in. Cliftonville are top of the table and whilst BTTS is ust at 50%, a top side going on the road to a high-scoring middle of the table club is a great recipe for goals.
Next up we take in a game from the Bundesliga where Vfb Stuttgart are second in the table when it comes to BTTS. 69% of all their league games have resulted in at least one goal for both sides. The home side are slightly lower but at 63%, that is still nearly two in every three games where this bet would come in.
The Eredivisie is a fine league for BTTS as FC Emmen are 14th of 18 but still have a 50% hit mark for getting in for Goals Galore. PSV are at 75% for away games and this game rounds out my five selections for Tuesday 24 January, 2023.
