Washington Wizards @ New York Knicks – Knicks on the Money Line @ 2/5

The Wizards have lost two straight and five of their last six games, as they travel to the Big Apple to try and improve their 18-26 record.

Life has been tough for Washington without All-Star guard Bradley Beal, who has been suffering with a hamstring injury for the past five matches.

The Knicks suffered an overtime loss to the Raptors last time out, however, Jalen Brunson has just been named Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference for Week 13, averaging 34.8 points per game.

I’m backing the Knicks here – I think they were unlucky not to beat Toronto last time out, and they should have too much for the Wizards without Beal.

Indiana Pacers @ Oklahoma City Thunder – Thunder (-4.5) @ EVS

The Pacers are entering this game after falling to the Milwaukee Bucks, 132-119, while Oklahoma City defeated the Brooklyn Nets last time out, 112-102.

Indiana are 23-22 for the season, and have lost their last four games since beating the Hornets on January 8.

Oklahoma City will still be riding high for the impressive victory over the Nets, as they currently sit 12th in the Western Conference.

The Pacers have struggled defensively lately, so I think the Thunder will have too much offensively here, and I fancy them to cover the spread.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Memphis Grizzlies – Grizzlies (-6.5) @ 5/6

This will be the first time these teams have locked horns this season, so I’m expecting an exciting contest.

The Cavaliers are entering this matchup after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans, 113-103, and they looked brilliant on the defensive end.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are coming into this game after taking down the Phoenix Suns, 136-106 to remain one game behind the Denver Nuggets at the top of the Western Conference.

Cleveland could be without star guard Donovan Mitchell for this one, which makes me favour backing Memphis on the point spread.

In addition, the Grizzlies have won nine games in a row.
