On four of the last five occasions that Man City have played host to Tottenham, over 2.5 goals have been scored.
I’m predicting goals on Thursday too, because at least three goals have been scored in three of Man City’s last six outings in league and cup matches, while Tottenham’s last two away games in the Premier League have both produced four goals.
Spurs are a bit of a bogey team as well for City, as the Citizens have lost four of the last five league games against them, so I fancy them to give a good account of themselves.
Dejan Kulusevski to score anytime
The Swedish international managed a goal and an assist in Spurs’ 3-2 win at the Etihad last season, so I think he’s a decent shout to be involved in the goals here.
He only has one goal to his name so far this season, but he returned from injury against Arsenal last Sunday, and if he can go again he can cause real problems linking up with Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
Both teams to score – Yes
As I’ve mentioned above, Spurs were 3-2 winners at the Etihad last season, and they would love a similar outcome on Thursday I’m sure, as they bid to keep their hopes alive for a top four finish.
Both teams have scored in three of City’s last four league games and neither of these teams have the best defensive record as of late. Both clubs have only managed to keep two clean sheets in their last six attempts, so you can see why I fancy both teams to find the back of the net on Thursday.
