Lisowski/Williams over 9 Frames – Evens
The Saturday afternoon session sees Englishman Jack Lisowski (11/10) taking on Wales’ Mark Williams (8/11), for a place in tomorrow’s final.
Williams came through a last frame thriller to defeat tournament favourite Ronnie O’Sullivan and played some superb stuff en route.
‘Jackpot’ meanwhile, has breezed through to the semi-finals, with comfortable wins over John Higgins and Hossein Vafaei.
The 31-year-old went out at this stage at the UK Championships and will be dying to reach his first Triple Crown final.
I think this will be a really tight affair, with both men in superb form and the over 9 frames bet looks really good value at even money.
Stuart Bingham to win – 11/8
The Evening session will be loud and lairy as crowd favourite Judd Trump (4/7) takes on Stuart Bingham (11/8).
Trump has had to come from behind twice to defeat Ryan Day and Barry Hawkins in last frame deciders and is in a real mixed run of form.
In the early stages of games the 33-year-old has looked nervy, hesitant and made some serious errors to gift his opponent an early lead.
However, he has shown some real class in the latter stages, when holding his nerve to get over the line.
That would be a real problem against Bingham though, who is an absolute bully when he gets in front, racing to 5-0 and 6-0 leads against Kyren Wilson and Shaun Murphy.
The 46-year-old has already smashed in five centuries en route to the semi-finals and is a frightening scorer when in the mood.
I think Bingham can pull off the shock win here and complete out 3.75/1 double.
