The Road to Super Bowl 57 is now set as 14 teams are left to compete in the playoffs. We take a look at the latest odds ahead of Super Wild Card Weekend to see who might be lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Glendale, Arizona next month…

It should come as little shock to any following of the sport to see Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs sitting atop of the Super Bowl 57 winner market. Since the QB and Head Coach Andy Reid got together, they have achieved plenty of success and have already lifted the trophy once and who would bet against them doing it a second time? They get to sit back and watch this weekend having earned the only Bye in the AFC. We make them a 10/3 shot to win it all.

Don’t discount the Buffalo Bills however as they are a team on a mission and are second-favourites at 4/1. Even before the Damar Hamlin situation, they were looking like an extremely competitive team but having gone through that, you feel as though they are playing with even more heart and spirit. Josh Allen might not be putting up the numbers that we are used to but he’s still a fine QB who can lead his team all the way. They played an instant classic both in the regular season with the Chiefs and in the 2022 playoffs, so if they face off again then get your popcorn…and bet the over!

The final team in the AFC to give a serious look to is the reigning champs of the conference in the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow is fine and with the three-headed beasts of Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and the underappreciated Tyler Boyd out there getting open and catching passes, they can win a shootout with just about anyone. They are a notch below the Chiefs and Bills at 15/2.

Both the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles come in at 5/1. Plenty are still dubious about Jalen Hurts and he didn’t look himself coming off an injury when he trotted out there for Week 18’s win over the Giants’ backups. Over in San Francisco, Brock Purdy is looking anything but Fool’s Gold and with a balanced offense going through the all-purpose back of Christian McCaffrey then they look the best in the NFC in my opinion.

The Dallas Cowboys are at 12/1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers priced up at 25s. They will certainly get plenty of eyeballs this weekend when they play in the Monday Night Super Wild Card Weekend Game but I’m not sure either team has it in them to go much further. Tom Brady looks to have finally made his acquaintance with Father Time and Dak Prescott looks shaky.

The other teams all look like longshots to make it even to their respective conference championship games but as we’ve all seen before, you just have to get in and then you can ride a hot streak all the way.
