Serie A resumes with all 20 teams in action on Wednesday with the standout clash coming at the San Siro when Inter host runaway leaders Napoli.
The 19:45 showdown will be the highlight as the Italian top flight roars back into life following a seven-and-a-half-week pause for the World Cup.
Unbeaten Napoli sit top, eight points clear of nearest challengers AC Milan and with just two draws blotting their copybook after a hugely-impressive 15 matches played.
Luciano Spalletti’s side will probably be tested by Inter but their odds of 2/1 to resume with a win on the road seem just too big to ignore.

Team news
Romelu Lukaku is fit again and, despite a disappointing World Cup, the Belgian is likely to start at centre-forward for the hosts.
World Cup winner Lautaro Martinez has finally returned to training after Argentina’s triumph in Qatar but this match may come too soon for him.
Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has suffered a calf injury and will be absent, while Inzaghi is set to choose Andre Onana in goal ahead of Samir Handanovic.
Napoli’s flying winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is fit after a back injury and should start, while centre-back Amir Rrahmani is also available again for the visitors.
Spalletti must choose between Hirving Lozano and Matteo Politano for a slot in the starting lineup down the right flank.
Napoli to win @ 2/1
Odds of 2/1 for a side that have won 13 of their 15 league games so far this season and, overall, have only lost once in all competitions seem too generous, even if going to the San Siro to take on Inter is always a difficult task.
So supremely good have the Naples giants been that they are already 11 points clear of Wednesday’s opponents, who have won 10 and lost five of their 15 Serie A matches.
True, Simone Inzaghi’s men won their previous two league games before the action was halted for the World Cup. The have also won their last three home Serie A matches against Napoli, whose last victory all told against the Nerazzurri came in a Coppa Italia contest in February 2020.
But this is the current Napoli in town and, at 2/1, they should be backed to pick up where they left off and maintain what looks to be a fairly unchallenged march to a first Scudetto since 1990.

If we’re suggesting the visitors will come out on top, it figures they will probably score at least twice in Milan. They have managed to score two goals or more in 11 of their 15 league outings and with the likes of forward threats Victor Osimhen and rising star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, they can breach Inter’s defence.
Combining that with at least five corners for Napoli seems wise considering they were awarded five corners in both of their previous two Serie A games before the break and are sure to be showing their usual attacking intent on Wednesday night.
