There is so much football at this time of year and here we enter the second slate of Premier League games over the festive period. We’ve taken a look at Liverpool versus Leicester City and provided you with our best bets.

Liverpool vs Leicester Tips

The Reds responded to a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Man City in the League Cup, beating Aston Villa 3-1 away last time out, meaning Liverpool have registered three straight Premier League wins and are now just two places outside the top four.

Jurgen Klopp will be keen to keep up the domestic momentum over the Christmas period and will be confident of three points against a Leicester side sat seven places below them in the table.

Leicester came back down to earth with a bump after four straight wins in all competitions, losing 3-0 at home to Newcastle on Boxing Day.

The result will increase the pressure on under fire boss Brendan Rodgers, who has moved into second favourite in the next Premier League manager to leave market.

Team news:

Jurgen Klopp may have defender Ibrahima Konate back for this one, after his enforced World Cup break but new signing Cody Gakpo can’t play till his registration is confirmed on New Year’s Day.

The Reds long term injury list includes Luis Diaz ,Arthur Melo and Diogo Jota, while James Milner and Curtis Jones could be back as early as next week.

City boss Brendan Rodgers is without James Maddison, who is going to London to see a knee specialist and Dennis Praet, who picked up a knock against Newcastle. They join the long term absentees in Jonny Evans, Ryan Bertrand, James Justin and Ricardo Pereira.

Latest Liverpool vs Leicester Betfred Odds

Liverpool to win and both teams to score – 6/4

After two dreadful losses to Leeds and Nottingham Forest, Liverpool appear to be getting back to something near their best. A narrow loss against Man City in the Carabao Cup won’t have knocked their confidence much, as the result could have gone their way on another night.

Barring the shocking loss to Newcastle on Boxing Day, Leicester also appeared to be on an upwards trajectory and have had no issues scoring goals in recent games.

I can see this being a high scoring game, with both teams bagging and the Reds coming away with the three points.

Mo Salah to score first – 3/1 (DD/HH offer)

Betfred are running their legendary Double Delight / Hat-Trick Heaven offer for this match, meaning if Mo Salah does score first, then goes on to net again you will be paid at 6/1. If he bags a hat-trick, you would be paid at 9/1.

Salah has looked back in form recently, scoring seven goals in his last seven games in all competitions and scored the opening goal against Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
