The PDC World Darts Championships are in full flow and we have daily tips for the tournament on site, as well as a full tournament preview. Today we have a tasty looking four-fold which is boosted out to 15/2
PDC World Darts Day 6 Tips
- Williams/Bialecki Over 3.5 sets – 4/9
- Jamie Hughes -1.5 hcp – 4/6
- Ricky Evans – 1.5 hcp – 8/13
- Raymond van Barneveld – 1.5 hcp – 20/21
The darts continues from Alexandra Palace on Tuesday night with four matches in the evening session. We’ve also put together a nice little four-fold for you to cheer on.
Williams/Bialecki Over 3.5 sets – 4/9
We start off with a really interesting looking game between Wales’ Jim Williams (4/9) and Pole Sebastian Bialecki (7/4).
Williams is relatively new on the PDC circuit but has some real pedigree on the former BDO Tour, reaching the last ever final in 2020 and winning the BDO World Trophy in 2019.
The 38-year old made his debut at Ally Pally last year and got through to the second round, where he was beaten by Joe Cullen 3-2.
Bialecki, on the other hand, is an up and coming professional and achieved his best results on tour this season, reaching the quarter finals of the UK Open.
The 19-year-old possesses some obvious talent and while I expect Williams to win, I expect Bialecki to take at least one set from him.
Jamie Hughes -1.5 hcp – 4/6
Next up we have England’s Jamie Hughes (3/10) taking on Dutchman Jimmy Hendricks (12/5), in a match he is expected to win comfortably.
‘Yozzer’ was a nearly man in the BDO, reaching fine semi finals in two years between 2016-17 as well as winning the Zuiderduin Masters.
Since his move to the PDC in 2018, The 36-year old has struggled at this level with a quarter final at the UK Open his best performance at a ranking event. He has yet to win on the World’s stage.
He has his best ever chance here though, against Hendricks. The 28-year-old is making his debut at this level and his recent averages shouldn’t trouble Hughes.
Ricky Evans – 1.5 hcp – 8/13
The glamour tie if the night comes between ‘Rapid’ Ricky Evans (1/4) and the Queen of the Palace, Fallon Sherrock (3/1).
The 28-year-old phenomenon reached the last 32 in 2020, before making the quarter finals of the Grand Slam of Darts the following year. However, she lost in the first round to Steve Beaton 3-2 last year.
Evans has a reasonable record at Ally Pally, progressing past the first round on five of seven attempts, reaching the third round twice, where he was unfortunate to meet Michael van Gerwyn on both occasions.
The 32-year-old has had a decent enough year, reaching a Players Championship final and the 6th round of the UK Open and I think unless Fallon is able to dig into her very best form, he should cover the handicap.
Raymond van Barneveld – 1.5 hcp – 20/21
Last, but not least, we have the five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld (4/9) taking on England’s Ryan Meikle (7/4).
Meikle reached the 2nd round with a superb 3-2 win over four-time women’s champ Lisa Ashton and showed serious bottle in doing so. However, he will need to raise that 91.88 average significantly to do so.
The Dutch legend has hit a purple patch recently and reached the semi finals of the recent Grand Slam of Darts beating Gerwyn Price (twice), Dave Chisnall and Simon Whitlock on the way.
He should have too much class and firepower for Meikle, who has never made it past the 2nd round, here in London.
