A tight one is envisaged then, and a low-scorer at that. Baltimore are looking to secure their third win on the spin, while Cleveland arrive fresh from a 23-10 beating at the hands of the Bengals – also bitter Division rivals.
Baltimore love to run the football, and the Browns are giving up around 5yds per carry. Sadly, star QB Lamar Jackson is thought unlikely to start for the Ravens, so the running game assumes even greater significance.
Ravens’ D is in decent nick though, and they’ll need to be with Deshaun Watson pulling the strings now for Cleveland. Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and Amari Cooper are notable threats that Watson I’m sure will thrive with.
I think it’s Watson-time, frankly, with the absence of Jackson for the Ravens the deciding factor for me. Should be tight, tough, but let’s hope for some moments of magic too. It is nearly Chrimbo after all.
