Week 15 action continues with another Saturday night treat!
Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns, Sat 9.30pm UK-time, FirstEnergy Stadium
AFC North rivals clash tonight. It’s the 9-and-4 Ravens versus the 5-and-8 Browns. Time is running out on this regular season. Stacks to play for then ..
Early prices, which of course can fluctuate up to game time; we have outright the Browns at 8/13, and the Ravens at 13/10. On the spread it’s Browns -2.5 @ 5/6, and Ravens +2.5 @ 21/20. The total points mark for this game is pitched at 38.5 … 10/11 both the under, and over.
A tight one is envisaged then, and a low-scorer at that. Baltimore are looking to secure their third win on the spin, while Cleveland arrive fresh from a 23-10 beating at the hands of the Bengals – also bitter Division rivals.
Baltimore love to run the football, and the Browns are giving up around 5yds per carry. Sadly, star QB Lamar Jackson is thought unlikely to start for the Ravens, so the running game assumes even greater significance.
Ravens’ D is in decent nick though, and they’ll need to be with Deshaun Watson pulling the strings now for Cleveland. Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and Amari Cooper are notable threats that Watson I’m sure will thrive with.
I think it’s Watson-time, frankly, with the absence of Jackson for the Ravens the deciding factor for me. Should be tight, tough, but let’s hope for some moments of magic too. It is nearly Chrimbo after all.
Selections – Cleveland Browns money line @ 8/13; Browns also on the spread -2.5 @ 5/6
