Buffalo will be looking to avenge a shock defeat earlier this season to this Divisional rival. There’s a large spread (it was 10 a couple of days ago), which for me might just be a bit of an over-reaction. The total looks about right, with fans of both under and over feeling more than hopeful.
Bills lead the East at 9-and-3. Jets lurk with postseason wildcard hopes at 7-and-5. Dolphins (8-4) and Pats (6-6) will also have their say. It’s certainly a hot Division.
The Jets have, for me, had a great season so far given what has tended to be their ‘norm’ in recent campaigns. Something for the MetLife faithful to cheer for once, including that win against Sunday’s opponent.
For the Bills, they seem to have it all and yet those 3 reverses suggest they’re not quite as awesome as all that. In a competitive season like this much depends on the day, rather than reputation.
I’d rather play the Jets plus the points than rely on the Bills to cover, even though they may prevail outright, New York state weather at this time of the year could be a factor too; anything inclement hampers the playmakers. Showers could be likely.
Let’s have an interest on the first half total points, too. Could be cagey before opening out a little, and the Jets’ D is playing some excellent football,
