Latest South Korea vs Ghana Betfred Odds

Heung-Min Son to score anytime

Heung-Min Son has been brilliant for South Korea lately, hitting the target twice, which makes him worth considering in the goalscorer market.

He struggled to influence the game against Uruguay, dragging his only chance of the game wide of the post in the closing stages.

However, the Spurs winger is a dangerous outlet for South Korea, and I’m expecting him to threaten more in this game.

Both teams to score

South Korea have scored in 19 of their last 21 matches, while Ghana have scored in 13 of their last 15 matches, so I think backing both teams to score is a sensible bet here.

The fact that this will be viewed as must-win by both teams should mean we get an end-to-end game, and the match will certainly open up if there is a goal for either side – just like the Portugal vs Ghana game did.

Total Goals – Over 2.5

I believe that a close encounter is on the cards when these sides meet, however a draw wouldn’t suit either side really.

This game could open up as I’ve touched on above, but the constant theme throughout this World Cup so far is low-scoring affairs, and goalless draws.

However, over 2.5 goals came up on six occasions each in both South Korea’s and Ghana’s last 10 matches.

Team Corners – Each team over 2.5

Both sides had over 2.5 corners in their group openers, so this seems a fairly straightforward selection (famous last words).

Like I’ve already mentioned, I think this game could be an open one with both teams needing a result, so there could be plenty of corners on show.
