The last 100% record has gone. Those soaring Eagles have been brought back down to earth, and the possibilities for Super Bowl LVII are almost endless.
Some joy on the tipping front last week, and a bit unfortunate that Dallas blew a 14-point lead late in the piece to scupper a nice double. I did mention that me and the Cowboys don’t seem to gel when it comes to investing the odd shilling, and so it proved once again!
Latest SB odds sees the Bills at 4/1, Chiefs 9/2, Eagles 11/2, 49ers 8/1, and it’s 11s bar.
So, what does Week 11 have in store for us all? It was Washington who clipped the Eagles’ wings last week – a real coupon-buster – and the Bills slipped, too. Minnesota sneaked past them in a thriller, emphasising just how utterly wide-open this campaign is.
Anyone then who reaches the post-season promised land will feel they’ve a chance of sorts, and who can blame them?
Washington Commanders @ Houston Texans, Sunday 6pm UK time, NRG Stadium
Those heroic Commanders have an opportunity to confirm that Eagles result with a win in Texas. The early spread is Washington -3.5, and I think that’s eminently do-able.
They carried the ball very well against Philadelphia, chewing up the clock. Houston allow far too many rushing yards, and could be in trouble here. Expect Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson to carry the rock to great effect.
Houston stand at the foot of the AFC South with just one win, while Washington are 5-and-5 in a very tough NFC East.
Brilliant opportunity then in my book for more capital gains. Washington Commanders -3.5 @ 21/20.
New York Jets @ New England Patriots, Sunday 6pm UK time, Gillette Stadium
These two bitter AFC East rivals met at the end of October in the Big Apple, and it was New England who prevailed – just. At 6-and-3 the Jets are enjoying an excellent campaign given recent lean seasons, while the Pats no longer intimidate as once they did.
Two pretty decent defenses on show here – top-ten ranked – and both offenses average around the same points per game. The Division is wide open, with the Dolphins shading it right now and of course the Bills right in the mix too.
Lots at stake then in Foxboro on Sunday, and I just fancy those New Yorkers to pull off a slight upset.
New York Jets, money line, @ 7/5
Elsewhere, how about a little money line (outright win) treble; Bears, Bills, Giants. At current, time-of-writing prices you’d get virtually a fiver back for a £1 win treble if successful; but prices of course can fluctuate between now and game time.

Have a brilliant NFL weekend. Small matter of the FIFA World Cup starting on Sunday too, so a feast for all us sports nuts. Enjoy it all, with Betfred.
