A lucky shop owner has again won big at Betfred, taking his total winnings in the last five years to a whopping £135,000.
He’s just picked up a cool £78,000 on the 49s numbers game from three bets totalling £55 at our shop in Earlestown.
It’s his fourth win in five years using the same numbers on the 49s and Irish Lottery, having previously claimed £28,000, £10,000 and £19,000 payouts.
That totals £135,000 – which is virtually half of the mortgage on his four-bedroom detached home in Newton-Le-Willows.
The 45-year-old father-of-one said: “The numbers I used always brought me luck in the casinos in the past, so I just kept using them over the last five years.
“I’m a very lucky guy, and they know that in the shop!
“This is my biggest win so far. I used it all to pay off my mortgage, which is now half-way there. We’re also going to go on a family holiday in Turkey, where it’s certainly sunnier and cheaper than it is here at the moment.
“My wife is very happy, because she says I work too hard in our shop and now I might be at home more.
“I am lucky on the numbers games and also lucky in love!”
