Football season is back baby! And what a season we have ahead of us: 17 weeks of regular season action leading right up to the playoffs on January 14th and Super Bowl XLVIII on February 12th. We put together a regular weekly acca for each game week and also run previews for the big televised games. Not only that but you can watch all the games live, right here on Betfred.com.
It’s game week 4 and the big Thursday night match is from PayCorp Stadium, where last year’s Super Bowl runners-up, the Cincinnati Bengals host the Miami Dolphins. The action starts at 1.15 am, live on Sky Sports and we’ve picked out two best bets for your attention.
Dolphins @ Bengals Tips
The Bengals have had a hangover after their unbelievable run last year, losing their first two games to the Steelers and Cowboys. Joe Burrow and his men finally got their act in gear last time, although it was only against the pitiful Jets. They did start to look like their old self offensively on Sunday though and should be a tough prospect for the unbeaten visitors.
The Miami Dolphins are the story of the NFL world thus far this season. After an easy win against the Pats in week one and a ridiculous comeback against the Ravens, The Fins went one better by shocking the Super Bowl favourites, Buffalo Bills, 21-19 on Sunday – leading to an all time great meltdown by Bills play caller Ken Dorsey.

Miami Dolphins +4.5 – 10/11
I’m taking Miami to continue their impressive march in the AFC and was very tempted to take them on the moneyline. However, I’m hedging my bets slightly and taking the 4.5 points start to give us a little cushion. The Bengals will be no pushovers but this Dolphins side just look to have an air of total belief this year. Check on the fitness of QB Tua Tagovailoa before placing – he had concussion issues at the weekend but apparently is fit to play.
Both teams to score over 25 points – 7/2
Both teams possess some frightening offensive talent, with the likes of Joe Burrow, Ja’Maar Chase, Tee Higgins and Joe Mixon for the Bengals, up against Tua, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for Miami. I can see this one turning into a bit of a shoot out and can see a points line over 50 hitting. Don’t be surprised to see either side taking this one with a match winning field goal late on.
