There are five more US meetings to get stuck into on Tuesday with action from Thistledown, Finger Lakes, Louisiana Downs, Horseshoe Indianapolis and Mountaineer, while there is also Canadian affair from Fort Erie.
First up on the agenda is Thistledown’s eight-race card, the action running from 17:50 until 21:20, and there is an extra place to take advantage of in the opening contest over 6f.
Michael Rone’s Reno Touch (SP) racked up a second straight win at this course and distance in September, that victory coming after a 411-day break, and another bold showing is expected in pursuit of the hat-trick in the first race.
The focus then turns to the eight-race offering at Fort Erie in Canada (18:05-21:21) and there are extra places to make the most of in the 18:33 and the 19:01, which last-time-out winner Union Colonel (SP) will be hoping to strike again in.
Finger Lakes also staged an eight-race card, the action running from 18:10 until 21:19, and Betfred’s extra place promotion covers the 18:37, 19:58 and the finale.
The attention then heads to the nine races on offer at Louisiana Downs (18:45-22:29) before Horseshoe Indianapolis also stages nine races (19:30-23:38), with the 20:01 and the 21:03 benefitting from an extra place being paid out in them.
Last, but by no means least, the final meeting of the day is Mountaineer’s eight-race card, with the opener going off at midnight before the finale at 02:55 brings down the curtain on a busy day of racing.
