A busy week of racing action comes to a close on Sunday 25th September and there are no less than four meetings taking place, including the Curragh’s eight-race card.
The action starts over in Ireland with that eight-race affair from the Curragh (13:25-17:20) and a lot of focus will be on the 16:15 – the Friends Of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch set over 2m 124y.
No less than 33 runners will contest the Premier Handicap and last-time-out winner Echoes In Rain, for Willie Mullins and Rachael Blackmore, is 13/2 to pick up another victory, while stiff competition is expected from 5/1 Waterville and 8/1 Cleveland.
It’s over to Ffos Las next for an eight-race card, the action running from 13:32 until 17:30, and there are extra places being paid out in the opener and the 15:50 – a Handicap over 1m 6f that Copperplate is 3/1 to win.
The penultimate meeting of the day comes from Epsom, a seven-race affair that begins with the 13:40 and concludes with the 17:05. There is an extra place on offer in the 14:50 while Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion covers the 15:25.
Saratoga Gold is aiming to make it a hat-trick of wins in the 15:25 and is 9/4 to achieve this feat, while the likes of 9/4 Tartan Chief and 6/1 Amalfi Bay will be hoping to have a big say on matters.
Last, but by no means least, the action is brought to a close with Yarmouth’s six-race card (13:49-16:39) and there is an extra place to take advantage of in the finale.
