Thursday’s US racing entertainment comes from no fewer than seven destinations, starting with the meeting at Delaware Park at 17:30.

A total of eight contests will run through to 21:00, with the last race of the day eligible for Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion.

True Atka (10/3) was unbeaten over the same course and distance last time out and is vying for a second win of the year against fellow hopefuls Always Talking and Vitaemi.

Thistledown is second off the mark, opening its own eight-race card at 17:50.

Belmont At The Big A follows from 19:05, with its opening Maiden Weight Special over six furlongs followed by eight further contests through to 23:15.

Eleven races are on show at Horseshoe Indianapolis, the first two of which – the 19:10 two-year-old Maiden Weight Special and the three-year-old-plus Claiming – qualify for the “Extra Place” promotion.

In the former, Brad Cox’s $475,000 newcomer Giant Mischief (2/1) is drawing all the attention, ahead of Rivoli and the improving Color Field.

The second running sees Randy Klopp’s Spoke (5/2) fancied to lead Follow The Money and Mischieviousbud home.
