Racing action continues across the UK and Ireland on Thursday with six meetings taking place at Newmarket, Listowel, Perth, Pontefract, Southwell and Chelmsford.
It’s Newmarket that kick-starts the day’s racing with eight contests taking place between 13:15 and 17:20, with the going rated as Good, good to frim in places.
The Jockey Club Rose Bowl Stakes will take centre stage at 15:35, in a race in which 10/11 chance Thunderous is the horse to beat with jockey Ryan Moore in the saddle.
Nate The Great (7/2), Ranch Hand (5/1), Island Brave (13/2) and Skycutter (10/1) are the other four runners looking to cause an upset in this one.
The only Irish meeting of the day takes place at Listowel with an eight-race card between 13:25 and 17:30.
Betfred’s Extra Place promotion covers five of the eight contests, including the final race at 17:30 in which The Truant (4/1) will be hoping a longer trip, after a fourth-place finish last time out at Galway, will better suit.
Thursday provides Scottish racing from Perth between 13:35 to 17:02, with a seven-race card in which the 14:10 and 16:30 are both covered by Betfred’s Super Extra Place offer.
From West Yorkshire there’s racing at Pontefract, with a seven-race card between 13:43 and 17:10, while there are eight contests to take in from Southwell’s all-weather track from 16:50 to 20:30.
Racing from Chelmsford completes the day’s action with a six-race card on the all-weather going off between 17:45 and 20:15.
