The international break continues and there are Nations League fixtures every day over the next week. Here we look at the fixture from League A, Group 4 where Belgium host Wales in Heysel. We’ve previewed the match up and provided you with a couple of suggested bets.

Belgium vs. Wales Tips

Wales have had a Nations League hangover, after their heroics in reaching the World Cup finals for the first time in 64 years. They sit rock bottom of an admittedly tough group, after three losses and a draw and will be viewing these upcoming games as solely preparatory for their Qatar 2022 adventures.

Belgium need to think about winning here as they sit three points behind group leaders, Netherlands, so need to better or at least match the Oranje result in Poland to keep up hopes of qualifying for the finals.

Team news:

Roberto Martinez has a full squad at his beck and call, including the returning Kevin de Bruyne who will slot straight back into the starting line up.

Rob Page is without Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey for this one, who both miss out through injury.

Belgium vs. Wales Odds

Belgium -1 match handicap – Evens

As mentioned above, Belgium really need to win this one, whilst Wales have very little to play for.  Les Diables rouges smashed six in at home against Poland earlier in the campaign and I can see them having a field day here too.

#PickYourPunt – Michy Batshuayi and Kevin de Bruyne to score and Joe Morrell to be carded – 12/1

Batshuayi is plying his trade at Fenerbahce these days after a few loan moves from former parent club Chelsea. He has been a regular fixture up front for the Belgian national team, however, and has scored 25 goals in 45 games.

Kevin de Bruyne is obviously first choice for the Belgians and is having another stellar season at Manchester City. The 31-year-old has 24 goals for the national side and scored 19 in all competitions last year at domestic level.

Portsmouth central midfielder Joe Morrell is the last part of our Pick Your Punt and we’re backing him to be carded. He’s up against the likes of Tielemans, Hazard, de Bruyne and Witsel in the engine room and has picked up three yellows for the national team already this calendar year.

The three bets combined pay 12/1 on Betfred.com’s #PickYourPunt bet builder.
