Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists his players are “very aware” of how tough it will be to get three points at Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday (Brentford 7/2, draw 3/1, Arsenal 4/5 – Match Betting).

The Gunners (12/1 Premier League Outright) are top of the table after six games of the season but will be looking to bounce back after a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United in their last outing.

Meanwhile, Brentford have enjoyed their own positive start to the campaign under Danish boss Thomas Frank with nine points from their first six games.

The Bees have only been beaten once in that time, while also securing high-scoring wins over both Manchester United and Leeds.

Arteta knows what to expect when his side head to the Gtech Community Stadium, after his side suffered a 2-0 defeat on their last league trip to the home of the Bees.

“They are a really good side,” Arteta told reporters in his press conference on Friday. “What Thomas has done there, not only this season but previously, is remarkable. We are very aware of how difficult it is going to be to beat them.”

Arteta, who was named the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for August, has confirmed defender Ben White is fit for the game on Sunday.

The former Brighton defender was left out of Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad but Arteta says the 24-year-old is available for action.

Meanwhile, Frank has been speaking about star striker Ivan Toney (7/4 Anytime Goalscorer) having his first call-up to the Three Lions senior squad.

Frank was delighted for the former Northampton Town star, saying: “His potential is very much not at the top – the sky is the limit.”
