After a busy Saturday, the racing action calms down a little on Sunday, with Fontwell and York hosting 14 races between them.

There is still something for everyone though with Jumps fare from the former while there is Flat racing from the Knavesmire.

Fontwell gets the day’s racing going when their seven-race card kicks off at 13:30, running through until the closing race at 17:00.

Neil Mulholland’s Dynamic Kate is priced up as the one to beat at 10/11 in the first race, having followed up a first victory over course and distance last month with a runner-up finish at Worcester most recently.

The second race on the Fontwell card, the Bigmore Wills and Probate Handicap Hurdle, sees Betfred offer their Extra Place promotion, with three places being paid out instead of two at 1/5 of the odds.

Alan King’s Midnights Legacy leads the betting at 13/8, but with the extra place being paid out, it could be worth taking a chance on one of the bigger prices.

12/1 Nazwa completed a double at Huntingdon in May, while Glimpse Of Gold has been pushed up the weights after securing a hat-trick in June.

St Leger Betting Odds

Running alongside the card at Fontwell is York’s seven-race affair, which gets under way at 13:45, with the lucky last set to go to post at 17:15.

Betfred are offering their Extra Place promotion on all but two of the seven races, with only the first and third races at 13:45 and 14:55 respectively not being covered.

The offer does of course extend to the closing race of the day’s action at 17:15, with four places being paid out instead of three.

Lullaby Bay is 13/2 in what is an open-looking finale, with Karl Burke’s three-year-old back in handicap company, having disappointed in a listed contest in Ayr which had come on the back of a hat-trick.

Julie Camacho’s Riversway (8/1) is also one to watch as he is very much in form as he goes for a treble of his own on the back of wins at Doncaster and Chester, but must defy a 6lb rise to do so.
