The Ageas Bowl is the venue for Thursday’s double-header in the Hundred, as the men’s and women’s Southern Brave and Manchester Originals teams go head-to-head.

The men’s standings don’t make good reading for either side, with both the Brave and Originals winning just one of their opening four games (Southern Brave 5/6, Manchester Originals 10/11 – Match Winner).

Southern Brave have had a four-day break following their crushing defeat at the Oval Invincibles, losing by seven wickets having set just 137 in their 100 balls.

The Originals opening win of this year’s tournament came in their last game, on Tuesday, when they beat the Welsh Fire by 47 runs at Old Trafford.

England international Phil Salt top scored with 38, in a 66-run partnership with Jos Buttler, and the former can be backed at 11/4 to be Manchester’s Top Run Scorer on Thursday night.
