If we feel there’s something of note happening during the day – ‘we’ being the Betfred columnists at HQ – then henceforth we’ll be flagging it up accordingly.

Reckon you can never have enough opinions and advice from which to make sound judgements of your own, so we’ll be chipping in on a fairly regular basis in a bid to add to the fun for us, and far more importantly, you.

If you were with us yesterday, you’d know we tipped up Liverpool over 2.5 total goals in their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, which we admit didn’t pan out as we thought it would.

However, we’re back again with another tip for you, this time coming from the Championship, and the game we’re focusing on is Birmingham City up against Watford.

The Hornets have made a strong start to life back in the Championship, winning two of their first three matches, conceding only one goal, while the Blues have won one, lost one and drawn one.

Watford’s top scorer lasts season Emmanuel Dennis has departed for pastures new in Nottingham Forest, but we think they should still have enough quality to win the game, as they aim to continue their unbeaten start.

But by how many goals is the question. Watford have won two of their last three in the league with the only goal of the game, so we think a correct score of 1-0 to the Hornets at 6/1 is a great shout.
