There are seven race meetings on Thursday on a busy day of action across the UK and Ireland.
They go at Worcester, Sandown and Yarmouth this afternoon, while the evening racing comes from Newbury and Doncaster, as well as Leopardstown and Limerick in Ireland.
The first race of the day is at Worcester at 13:00, where there are seven contests with the last one due off at 16:30, and three of the races there feature as part of Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion, including the 14:10, where they are paying out on three places.
In the 14:10, Bannister (5/2) is expected to feature prominently after winning last time out over C&D when fitted with a tongue strap, while Kolisi (3/1) is another who is likely to run well after completing a hat-trick at Exeter in April before two second-placed finishes at Worcester and Stratford last month.
Sandown has seven races this afternoon, between 13:15 and 16:40, while Yarmouth’s six-race card gets under way at 14:00 and finishes up with the 16:52.
In that finale, Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion is also available, paying out on four places in a 12-strong affair, with Priscilla’s Wish (7/2) – who was a runner-up in a C&D event just over a fortnight ago and is unchanged from that mark – expected to be in the mix.
The action at Doncaster is due to start at 17:55 and the last of seven races is scheduled for 20:55, while Newbury has six races later, between 18:08 and 20:38.
In that closing race, Shibuya Song (4/1) was a solid third out of nine in a handicap at Windsor at the end of June and that run bodes well for this outing.
The Irish meetings today start at Limerick at 17:15, where there are seven races until the closing contest at 20:15, while Leopardstown stages a seven-race card between 17:30 and 20:30.
